If you got your Cybertruck, and decided that stainless wasn’t your style, don’t sweat it! You can easily change up the Cybertruck’s appearance like we did with this one. This client wanted a whole new look so we gave them a color change vinyl wrap, tinted windows, and sealed it with a ceramic coating. This truck already catches a lot of attention, but when you install a unique wrap film it captures even more looks!

Installing a Gloss Black Metallic Vinyl Wrap

Cybertruck wraps are a great way to quickly get the exact color you want. This wrapped Cybertruck has a 3M 1080 Gloss Black Metallic vinyl film. High-gloss films like this one have a completely different finish compared to the satin black Cybertruck we already wrapped. Since it’s a metallic vinyl wrap there are tiny flakes in it that shimmer underneath the right lighting.

Along with the wrap you’ll find we installed white Foundation Series and Cyberbeast emblems which were etched into the steel. These go on after the whole wrap is applied and can be found on the front fenders and rear tailgate.

Applying a Ceramic Coating

Our shop likes to ensure that clients get the most out of their vinyl wraps. That’s why we protect the new vinyl and boost its shine with a ceramic coating. Ceramic coatings bind to the surface of the vinyl the same way they do with paint jobs. When this happens it creates a protective barrier which fills in microscopic nooks and crannies leaving no spots for grime to stick around.

Once a ceramic coating is applied the surface hardness will increase. This makes the wrap more resistant to scratching and scuffing from road debris or any accidental scrapes. Having this extra layer to guard your ride is very important with specialty films. The ceramic finish also repels waters for a super quick car wash.

Tinting The Windows

The last accessory most our builds get is window tint. Applying this tried and true accessory will change the whole demeanor of the vehicle while adding some useful benefits. Window tint actually works to reject heat, provide privacy, and block harmful UV rays. The lower the VLT percentage the darker the tint.
