This Wild Green 2024 Ford Expedition was built for big excursions. To craft a more adventurous appearance for this ride we upgraded its factory exterior. Using a chrome delete emblems, a vinyl roof wrap, powder coated wheels, and window tint created a whole new look. Now this black and green Ford Expedition is like a sporty camper that totes the whole family on trips.

Creating The Chrome Delete Look
Chrome deletes are a way to style your Ford Expedition by blacking out chrome accents. In the case of this expedition all the emblems and badges were exchanged for blackout versions. Since the expedition comes with a black mesh grille the blackout Ford emblems complement it well.
Another big area that benefits form the chrome delete is the lower and rear window trim. These two areas have thin strips of chrome that look out of place before their swapped out. Black Powder Coated Wheels
With the chrome gone we wanted the rims to accentuate this green and black color scheme. Rather than buy a whole new set of expensive custom wheels we chose to give them a black powder coat finish. Instead of generic chrome these wheels sport a sleek black style that matches the chrome delete.
Powder coating creates a more durable finish than standard paint with tons of color options available for you to choose from. What makes the powder coat finishes great are the benefits such as increased durability, better color coverage, cost efficiency, and a more environmentally friendly impact.
Two-Tone Vinyl Roof Wrap
Next we installed a roof and pillar wrap. This type of vinyl wrap creates a two-tone style that tends to make the vehicle appear more sporty and stylized. This gloss black roof wrap blends with the window trim and builds on the chrome deletes look. This also creates a slimming illusion where the top half of the vehicle appears more compressed and less bulky.

Window Tint
Of course most of our builds will get a reliable window tint. We use FX Premium window film from 3M which is some of the best around. Window tint does more than create a great look. Tint provides privacy, heat rejection, and blocks U.V. glare keeping you safer and more comfortable.
When you go to tint your vehicle keep in mind your local laws and make sure the shop has a good warranty. We always recommend a professional install for this modification since poor tint jobs will bubble and discolor over time!
