The Envista has been a success for Buick’s brand! Its competitive price point and athletic design have made it highly desirable. We couldn’t help but wonder what would this popular new ride look like with a full on blackout aesthetic.

Swapping Out Blackout Emblems
We got straight to work darkening Buicks updated tri-shield emblem. When turning the three shields black we also wiped out the red white and blue inlays creating a full gloss black appearance.

After the front and back Buick emblems were blacked out we turned our attention to the Envista nameplate lettering. Having all black badging for the emblems and nameplates causes them to blend into the cars body paint. This creates a custom low profile appearance compared to the original factory design.

Installing Chrome Delete Trim
Our chrome delete doesn’t end with the emblems though. On the front end we replaced the front bumper accent and fog light bezels with painted chrome delete parts as well. The black on black trim creates a smoother streamlined look on the front fascia.

At the back end beneath the chrome delete Buick emblem on the tailgate you’ll find the rear bumper was also given the chrome delete treatment. Performing a chrome delete on the 2025 Buick Envista is pretty simple with only a few emblems and trim accents.

Painted Brake Calipers
To give this build a little pop we went ahead gave it some red painted calipers. Painted brake calipers create more depth and draw attention to the wheels. In this case the red also leans into the athletic performance style of this model while matching the bright red brake lights. We’ve had customer paint calipers in tons of colors like red, orange, yellow, pink, blue, green, and more.
With brake calipers it’s important to apply a durable and heat resistant paint. They deal with a lot of friction, debris, and road chemicals which can all be blocked with a coat of the proper paint. If you’re feeling really fancy you can put a ceramic coating on them for another layer of protection and a super easy clean.
Tinted Windows
To finish-up the blackout look on the Envista we applied a classic window tint. Tinted windows look great with blackout trim, and they also have major benefits! You get more protection and privacy. Both window tints can reject solar energy in the form of infrared and UV rays. This keeps your interior cooler during hot summer months which is very important for all black vehicles!
When you go to select your tint, keep in mind your local laws to avoid getting ticketed (you can also get a medical exemption). We always recommend a professional install for this modification. Poor tint jobs will bubble and discolor over time. Make sure your window tint installer has a good warranty to protect your investment!
