Chrome Delete Trim
If your Sierra is full of chrome accents then chrome delete trim is a great styling option. This blacked out GMC Sierra features parts like our premium blackout Sierra Denali grille. It keeps that high-end look and completely wipes out all the chrome. They are also completely black opposed to the bluish tinted Vader Chrome found on other Denali Ultimate trim levels.
Right below the blackout grille is a new front bumper accent that eliminates the shiny chrome part. Using a blackout front bumper accent streamlines the look of the front end so nothing looks out of place. When we replaced the bumper we powder coated the tow hooks gloss red for a small color pop. Subtle mods like this can enhance the trucks styling by accenting certain parts of the design.
Beside the larger blackout trim parts on the front we replaced the chrome fender vents and mirror caps. Black GMC Ultimate edition fender vents and mirror caps have a better look than chrome that matches the new styling. To cap off the front end a new illuminated black GMC emblem helps this Sierra shine. Our chrome delete also extended to the other badging like the Denali nameplate lettering and the rear GMC emblem.
The rest of the blackout trim including door handles and window trim were taken care of in a breeze. The chrome delete trim on this build creates strong and stern appearance for this blackout GMC truck.
Black Powder Coated Wheels
Factory wheel designs can be hit or miss and many of them are loaded with chrome. With this GMC Sierra blacked out we Powder coated the wheels gloss black to better fit the new styling. Applying a powder coat finish has some great benefits, but most notably it’s cheaper than a whole new name brand set.
Using a powder coat finish you’ll get increased durability with plenty of color options to choose from. It also comes with benefits like better coverage, cost efficiency, and a more environmentally friendly impact.
Red Painted Calipers
Painted brake calipers go great with a fresh set of powder coated wheels. They tie together with the red tow hooks on the front and are a great spot to add some personalization. These red calipers could be any color though depending on what bests suit your ride style. Orange, yellow, pink, blue, green, gold and more are some of the colors we’ve done.
With brake calipers it’s crucial to apply a durable and heat resistant paint. They have to deal with a lot of friction, debris, and road chemicals which can all be blocked with a coat of the proper paint.
Tinted Windows
Installing a window tint film on your windows delivers wicked style, but more importantly it has practical benefits. Tinted windows will create privacy and provide protection from harsh UV rays for you and your ride.
Using high quality 3M premium window tint film, we applied a 35% tint on the front windows leaving the back windows at their factory shade. Rear windows are usually darker when they leave factory and don’t always require an additional tint.
When you go to select your tint, you need to keep in mind your local laws so that you don’t get ticketed. We always recommend a professional install for this modification. Poor tint jobs will bubble and discolor over time. Make sure your window tint installer has a good warranty to protect your investment!
