Introduced in 1977, the Golden Eagle is a long-forgotten edition of the Wrangler lineup. With unique exterior styling differences, and increased functionality, the Golden Eagle soars above the other Wranglers of the time.
We wanted to bring the Golden Eagle Wrangler into the 21st century with some astounding styling and modern comforts. We did just that with air ride suspension (and more) allowing this Golden Eagle to soar high in the sky!

Air Lift Suspension
One of the two primary features of this build that earned it its name is the Accuair suspension system. With Bluetooth control-ability, RGB back-lighting, and automatic calibration, the Air Lift on this Jeep is one eye catching party trick. As a bonus, there are three programmable height settings.
The driving prowess of the original Golden Eagle was smooth off the tarmac, but less so on the roads. We wanted to give this build the best of both worlds with comfort-ability on and off the trails. This is achieved with the air lift suspension offering a smooth dampened ride.
Wheel and Tire Package
The second feature that earned this Jeep the Golden Eagle name are the Fuel Warp Wheels in a gold finish. These wheels feature a five spoke design with outer lip spokes for a truly rugged appearance. But with a lift and wheels, we needed new rubber.
We surrounded the new Fuel wheels with a set of Mickey Thompson Deegan 38 tires. These tires come with a silica-reinforced tread compound and siping for all weather performance, cut/chip resistance, and longevity.
Tire Relocation & Rock Lights
With the upgraded wheel and tires came some additional weight. To make sure the spare tire weight change wouldn’t be an issue we opted for Rough Country tire relocation kit. The metal construction decreases flex over bumps to ensure a more durable mount for the spare wheel.
For some additional visibility at night, we also added some Rough Country LED rock lights to this rig. Rock lights are a great addition for an offroad build because it allows spotters at night easy visibility while giving instructions to the driver.
The rock lights also offer an opportunity to show off the wheel and tire package on this Jeep while stationary!
Comfort Accessories
The Golden Eagle now sitting high and might on its new suspension and wheels needed some comfort upgrades. To accommodate the new potential ride height, we added Drop Down Steps from TrailFX. These feature a textured finish for additional grip when wet (especially useful when you mall crawl for the hunnies).
In addition to the drop steps, we also added 3M Premium FX tint to this Wrangler. Tint is a great upgrade for offroad rigs since it not only decreases glare, but also keeps the interior slightly cooler in the warm summer months!
Custom Graphics
The cherry on top to this Golden Eagle Wrangler were the custom matte black and gold hood graphics. Featuring a soaring eagle on the top of the hood, and nameplates on the side, these graphics tie together with the wheels like no other.
