The all new 2021 Ford Bronco Sport features a heritage inspired design similar to the original Bronco in the 1960’s. With the Bronco coming from the factory trail ready, we kept our upgrade list pretty tame while still adding to the appearance and functionality of this steed!

Wheel & Tire Package
To get this Bronco ready for a stampede we knew we’d need to opt for new offroad rubber. We decided on Falken Wildpeak AT Trail rubber (225/60R18). The Wildpeak AT Trail was designed specifically with trail durability and on-road manners in mind. With superb dry and wet traction, this tire is a perfect match for the Bronco Sport!
We’re rockin’ with the Bronco Sport’s factory five-spoke wheel design, so we opted to keep em’. To better match this Shadow Black Bronco, we treated the factory wheels with gloss black powdercoat. Powdercoating is a great option if you’re not looking to replace wheels entirely but want a different look. We can powdercoat nearly any color, so the possibilities are just about endless!
Roof Rack
To give this Bronco Sport some additional storage capacity, we bolted on a Curt roof mounted cargo basket. This roof rack comes in 2 pieces making assembly and installation a breeze. With a weight capacity of 150lbs, not only does this roof rack look great, it’s also extremely capable!
To get our Curt roof rack mounted to this Bronco Sport we also grabbed a set of Rhino-Rack Vortex Stealthbars. The Stealthbar comes with seven predefined lengths to suit vehicles with raised roof rails. With options in black or silver, this is a great addition to help add some functionality to your ride!
On the front of this rood basket we added some textured matte black vinyl. With the Bronco sport icon decal, this makes this Curt roof rack look like a factory option on the Bronco sport!
Painted Calipers
With this Bronco engulfed in gloss black already, we decided to add a coating of gloss black paint to the brake calipers. For a unique appearance on a budget, painted calipers are a great option!
Some shops offer painted brake calipers without disclosing their rattle can methodology. Sure, rattle can brake calipers can work in the short term, but its guaranteed to fail in the long term. Using a paint specifically designed to withstand the heat, road debris, and brake dust is absolutely essential when painting your brake calipers!
Bronco Sport Rear Nameplate Surround Decal
Around back of this Bronco we added a custom rear nameplate graphic in a matrix black vinyl. In order to apply this, we needed to remove the existing rear nameplate lettering that comes on the Bronco Sport. This is a small change that truly makes this Bronco one of a kind!
Potential Addons
With everything we’ve done to this Bronco, it’s a challenge to come up with ways to improve the build. One addon that this Bronco Sport could benefit from is rubber Weathertech floor liners. Floor liners offer a great way to keep your interior clean from snow, dirt, or plain ole messy kids.
