Teraflex 1.5 Inch Lift kit
We lifted this Renegade using the Teraflex 1.5 inch lift kit. These kits are perfect for daily drivers and weekend riders. They provide more clearance for larger tires, and achieve it without compromising factory ride. This kit also works on the Jeep Compass.
Open Country A/T III Tire
We’re using the additional clearance to add Toyo Open Country A/T III tires. These 225/65R17 all terrain tires are a bit wider and taller than the factory 215/60R17 tire on the Altitude trim.
The Open Country A/T III is all-new for 2020 and introduces advances in tread design and construction. They provide a quiet ride with exceptional stability and have an aggressive style.
Vortex Stealthbar 2-Bar Roof Rack
Most of the action on this build is happening up top. We mounted two bars across the Altitude’s factory roof rails. It’s important that your Renegade have these already, because you cannot easily add rails to a lower-end model.
It’s called the “Stealthbar” because of the low profile it has on the vehicle. It sits only 1.5 inches above the factory rails and can be removed quickly.
Go Rhino SR40 Roof Rack
Across the bars we mounted the Go Rhino SR Rack in textured black powder coat. This one-piece rack is 48″ long and has slots for four cube lights.
It provides much needed cargo space in the compact Renegade, while adding a lot of style.
Rough Country 2″ CREE Cube LED Lights
We filled the SR40 up with four 2-inch cube lights from Rough Country. These have a powerful flood light that produce 2880 lumen each.
Potential Additions
If you wanted to spend the extra money, you could replace the gloss black Altitude wheels with an aftermarket rim, but we didn’t think it was necessary this time. A retro army star in matte black could also be a nice addition to the hood or side.
