It all begins in the paint department. We started by removing the Camry’s white spoiler and mirror covers. We sprayed them gloss black to stand apart from the factory offering. Then we turned our attention to the 18-inch alloy wheels.
Powder Coated Wheels
When you’re looking to change the look of a wheel you have two basic choices—change the color or change the wheel. If you decide to change the color we always recommend powder coat rather than a traditional automotive paint.
The coating is applied with an electrostatic charge and forms a skin that is harder than conventional paint.
We chose gloss black powder coat and reused the factory lugs and center caps to create some nice contrast with this package.
Blackout Roof Wrap
We used gloss black Supreme Wrapping film from Avery Dennison to black out the roof. We use wrap film instead of paint due to the more affordable price, and the future flexibility it gives you. If the finish ever gets damaged or you change your mind, the black film can be removed, leaving the factory white finish untouched.
We finished the build with Carbon Series window tinting. It adds to the blackout appearance and gives you more privacy and comfort.
