2019 RAM 1500 – 6-Inch Lift Build

The 5th generation RAM introduced a new look and a new attitude. This 2019 RAM 1500 takes it into overdrive with a huge lift and wheel package.

6 Inch Lift Kit

We used a Rough Country 6″ suspension lift kit to raise this RAM up in the sky. It levels the front of the truck with the rear while increasing overall ground clearance. These kits from Rough Country are designed to keep things looking clean underneath. They utilize drop brackets so nothing is left hanging out.

Wheels & Tires

We made use of the extra room the lift provides with the 20×10 Contra Wheel from Fuel Offroad. This 10-spoke wheel in matte black features machined accents and a subtle beadlock appearance.

We wrapped them in 35 inch Toyo Open Counter A/T II tires. They feature a deep scalloped shoulder design that helps enhance traction on any terrain. The Open Country tires also feature an open tread block design that delivers tough looks and even tougher performance.

Exterior Modifications

The front driver and passenger windows were tinted to match the privacy of the rear windows. We use Suntek Carbon Series window film for all our tinting needs. It has a rich black color that’s protected against fading.

We also removed the side nameplates to give the RAM a cleaner look. It’s something not everyone will notice, but it makes a big difference and really adds a custom feel to the truck. If you’re considering a similar build you might even consider adding black emblems to take yours to the next level.

Potential Additions

A bed cover like the Undercover Ultra Flex Tonneau would be great addition to this truck. It extends your cargo carrying ability without sacrificing bed access. A set of running boards could also be added to make entry and exit easier for you and your passengers.
