This iconic luxury SUV has a reputation for an excess of chrome. Removing it creates an eye-catching style that you don’t often see. For many, the Cadillac Escalade has become the poster child of murdered out style–the peak of American luxury turned on its head.

Chrome Delete
We went full #chromekiller on this blacked out Escalade. The grille, bodyside moldings, roof rails, tailgate applique, door handles, and running boards all went from sheen to mean. Any and all trim was blacked out using our paint booth or wrap film. This also included the window trim, and fog light bezels.
This is a pre-owned vehicle from 2016, so it had a bit of mileage on it. One place you often see that mileage is on the wheels. We took the Cadillac factory 22’s and gave them a gloss black refinish.
The awesome part of powder coating your wheels is that they get a new lease on life. The powder coating prep process strips down your wheel to bare metal and erases all those little imperfections the highway throws at you. You’re basically getting a new wheel at a fraction of the cost.
Badges and Nameplates
General Motors doesn’t sell a black Cadillac badge, so we had to take matters into our own hands. We brought it into the paint booth and sprayed the badges gloss black. On the rear hatch we debadged the “Escalade” nameplate. Combine this with the hitch closeout and you have a super clean look in the rear.
Window Tint
No black Escalade can be complete without dark tinting all around. We utilized our best window tint film–Ceramic IR by 3M. This provides 20% more heat reduction than our non-ceramic films.
