The 2024 Tesla Cybertruck is freezing people in their tracks, but this one has something special. It’s colorful styling draws even more attention than its already polarizing geometric design and stainless steel exterior.
Giving the Cybertruck a Vinyl Wrap
Covering the stainless on this Cybertruck is a color flip vinyl wrap. Since you can’t get the Cybertruck in any color other than stainless we installed the satin Frozen Ocean wrap from Avery Dennison to get the look this client wanted.
Color flip wraps change their appearance based on the angle of lighting. Most of the time this Cybertruck is dark blue, but when the light hits at the right angle it revels a teal color hidden within. This wrap has a satin finish which reduces the reflaction making the effect a bit more subtle. If you wanted more of a pop then gloss is your go to.
There are a ton of stunning vinyl wrap options to choose from! In our opinion colored chrome wraps, or wraps with flecks of color look great on this truck. Tesla offers a few of their own designs, but there aren’t many choices available. One thing is for sure though. This truck was made to be wrapped!
Ceramic Coating
Now that the Cybertruck has a stellar new vinyl wrap, we want to keep it protected! Which is why we applied a ceramic coating directly to the satin film. It’s the same process as applying to paint. Ceramic coatings bind to the surface and create a protective layer atop the film. It effectively fills in any microscopic variations in the surface. This results in a super smooth finish that doesn’t give grime a spot to stick.
After a ceramic application your ride will be superhydrophobic. Another huge benefit of ceramic coating a wrap film is the added surface hardness. This creates more resistance to scratching and scuffing. Which makes it especially important with non-glossy films that are more susceptible to such things.
Tinting The Windows
To finish up this custom Cybertruck we used window tint for a more intense look. Aside from looking great a practical reasons for window tint is that it will help reject heat and provides extra privacy. Plus it blocks UV rays from blurring your vision or burning your skin.
