The Toyota Sequoias 3rd generation comes with a whole new look and a lot of updates. This Midnight Black TRD Pro trim was brought in to get a few new offroad upgrades. To improve this expertly equipped vehicle we added accessories like LED lighting, a lift kit, and more!

Installing LED Lighting
We started by installing a couple LED accessories from Baja Designs. The S2 Sport Fog Light kit helped us to install rugged amber LED lights in each side of the front bumper. In addition the grille was upgraded with a S8 20-inch amber LED light bar.
Why use amber lens LEDs? Amber lens will minimize glare, enhance visibility and significantly improve late night trail driving experience. After wiring up these amber LEDs, ditch lights were hooked up next. The XL Sport ditch lights we used attach to A -pillars with a bracket for stabilization. Baja Design builds their lighting to withstand all sorts of challenging conditions such as dust, muck, rain, snow, or fog.
Lift Kit and Wheel Spacers
In order to raise this offroad Sequoia to greater heights we installed a 2-inch lift kit from Westcott Designs. After the lift is hooked up we have more room to work with. Just in case though we installed wheel spacers to create a wider stance and avoid the box car look.
Trail Ready Tires
Tires for this build were upgraded to a set of more capable 35-inch Nitto Recon Grapplers. Hybrid all-terrain tires like this offer a compelling balance of trail performance and daily driving. Gritty lug pattern on the shoulder and sidewall of the tire provide strong traction and rugged good look.
Painted Brake Calipers
To match the red TRD Pro accents on this offroad Sequoia build we painted the brake calipers red. Red calipers add to the style of the vehicle and improve that performance ready appearance. Personalizing the calipers on your ride is a quick and easy way to boost its style. We’ve had customers paint calipers in tons of colors including: red, orange, yellow, pink, blue, green, gold, and more!
When painting brake calipers it’s critical to use a durable and heat resistant paint. Calipers deal with a lot of friction, debris, and road chemicals, so a proper coat of paint keeps them protected. If you’re feeling really fancy you can put a ceramic coating on them for another layer of protection and a super easy clean.
3M FX Premium Tint
In order to add extra comfort and privacy we installed window tint film on this lifted Sequoia. Tinting the windows can reduce light and heat by blocking infrared and UV rays. Not only does it improve your driving experience, it also looks great!
