Satin Black Vinyl Wrap
Upon arrival this custom Hummer was a standard gloss white. To give it an upgrade, we installed a satin black 3M vinyl wrap that altered its color and finish. Having a satin finish removes the reflective quality of gloss making it appear closer to matte. This creates a luxurious look that is both sturdy and sleek when applied to trucks.
Vinyl wraps can offer a lot of benefits that not everyone thinks about. They are a cost-effective way of customizing your ride that can be removed when you want to change up the appearance. While vinyl is on your vehicle it will even protect your paint from chipping and corrosion. If properly installed and cared for, a wrap will last up to 7 years.
Bronze Powder Coated Wheels
Even though the Hummer EV’s wheel design is solid we wanted to enhance them with a powder coat finish. We coated these rigid wheels in a warm bronze color to give this ride some energy and class.
Powder coating your wheels allows you keep their design while altering their color. In addition, the powder coating will seal your wheels with another layer of protection that increases their durability. All that plus better coverage, a more environmentally friendly impact, and cheaper cost than new wheels.
Powder Coated Skid Plate
The skid plate was powder coated bronze too in order to further the new black and bronze color scheme. This golden underbelly of the Hummer is a subtle design element compared to the wheels, but it helps tie the whole look together.
Chrome Delete Bronze Emblems
In addition to the powder coated wheels and skid plate the emblems were painted bronze. Starting with the large Hummer nameplate on the tailgate, everything was carefully removed before getting a chrome delete treatment.
The GMC emblem and Hummer EV badging were the last pieces get covered in bronze. Altering the emblems of your ride is one of the best ways to personalize it since you remove the generic factory molding. Personalized features like these let this GMC Hummer EV standout on the road!
Tinted Windows
Our last accessory was 3M window tint, which is one of the best additions with the irreplaceable benefits. It rejects solar energy which keeps the interior of your ride cooler during warmer months. Blocking the UV rays will protect passengers and the plastics in your dash from sun damage. This is even more important for black vehicles since they soak up all that warmth!
When you go to tint your windows, check your local laws, so that you choose the correct % of VLT (Visual Light Transference). We always recommend a professional install for this modification. Poor tint jobs will bubble and discolor over time. Make sure your window tint installer has a good warranty to protect your investment!
