It was exciting to have one of our first 2024 Toyota Land Cruisers in the shop! This client wanted to create a Land Cruiser look with retro styling. We installed accessories like steelie rims, and a custom leather interior. Along with a few extra upgrades explained below.

Retro Wheels and Offroad Tires
For the rims we went ahead and slapped on Fifteen52 Analog HD Steelies. Love them or hate them steelie wheel designs are often reminiscent of older vehicle styling. All white ones like these create a bold look that grabs attention similar to white-walled tires.
Wrapped around the steelie rims are Toyo ATIII tires for a good blend of on and off road function. These tires are great because of their availability and performance across a variety of road conditions.
Custom Leather Upholstery
The original interior on the 2024 Land Cruiser is very modern. To match the retro vibes that the steelies help to create we installed custom leather upholstery from Katzkin Leather. Now the interior has a custom gray and white diamond stitch design. It matches the color scheme to deliver a cohesive style with the exterior.
Upgrading your interior is a great way to spice up your ride. For many vehicles higher trim levels are the only ones that get leather. Here’s a secret though… It’s usually cheaper to get leather installed aftermarket rather than shelling out for the more expensive trims.
Gray Vinyl Roof Wrap
Toyota offers a couple great color options for the 2024 land Cruiser. Although only the Heritage Blue and Trail Dust come with a two-tone Grayscape roof. For this Meteor Shower Land cruiser we installed a gray vinyl roof wrap to create the same look.
Having that vinyl roof wrap lends to the old school character. Roof wraps are a great accessory to install. They can change up the look of your ride for an affordable price since you aren’t wrapping the entire thing.
Window Tint
Last we installed a 3M window tint film. Window tint darkens the windows, but there are also lots of practical benefits. Tinted films reject UV rays which protects your skin and your interior. In fact window tint is recommended by the skin cancer foundation! It also can help provide additional privacy.
We only use 3M tint because of their benefits over competing brands. We wrote a whole article about the benefits of 3M tint to help you learn more before making your decision. When you go to select your tint, you need to keep in mind your local laws, so that you don’t get ticketed. We always recommend a professional install for this modification. Poor tint jobs will bubble and discolor over time. Make sure your window tint installer has a good warranty to protect your investment!
