The 2022 Ram 1500 has pronounced features and powerful capability. Among its impressive utility is updated interior technology, and a great cabin design. However, we saw room for a few basic improvements to personalize this Ram 1500 with an impressive new interior, and a visually compelling exterior.

Custom Leather Interior
Custom leather interior was a huge upgrade to this truck that really increased its value and luxury appeal. For this build we selected a red and black leather upholstery with a diamond stitch design to replace the factory cloth seats. Katzkin premium leather seating has loads of great options for all kinds of different vehicle makes and models.
All the leather on this build continues the trucks red and black color scheme and makes you want to show it off. The leather doesn’t just stop at the seating though. It actually continues on to the center console and to the accents on the inside of the door. This expansive leather interior really elevates this entire custom Ram 1500 build.
We’re gonna let you in on a secret about leather car manufacturers don’t want you to know. The truth is you don’t have to drop tons of cash for a higher trim level when all you want is leather seating. To get to the Ram 1500 trim level that starts offering leather is at least $4,000 more than the average trim. Where as getting custom leather heated seats from Katzkin is only a few thousand and can raise the value of your car.

1.5 Inch Leveling Kit
Leveling kits or lift kits are a common modification to add on trucks. Most trucks have a positive rake, which means the front-end is lower than the back-end. This is done intentionally by engineers to accommodate heavy loads in the bed or while hauling something. If you don’t do those activities often and want to have larger tires for off-road use leveling kits help make that happen. That’s why we installed a 1.5″ Rough Country leveling kit for this red Ram 1500 to improve it’s off-road action and future tire setup.
Side Steps
Installing side steps is one of the best practical accessories to give your truck. Since upgrading the lift and later attaching larger wheels the truck will be taller and harder for some passengers to access. In addition side steps add to the look and appearance of your vehicle with plenty of different designs!
Having side steps installed also provides a place to scrape off dirt, snow, and mud before entering the vehicle which helps keep your interior clean. Certain assist steps can even act a nerf bars protecting the under side of your truck from jagged rocks or objects that are flung up while driving. The last thing they can help with is boosting you upward to adjust anything secured on the roof.
Window Tint
The final touch on this modified Ram 1500 was a bit more darkness from adding a window tint film. With a window tint there’s a bit more privacy for the driver and passengers while also complementing the look of the black accents and window trim.
Not only do they look good, window tint films protect the vehicle along with the people and objects inside. It does this by blocking harmful UV ray’s from the sun.
Tinted films come in varying levels of darkness. We often offer 35%, 20%, and 5% levels of tinting. With tint the lowest % is the darkest. When you go to select your tint you need to keep in mind your local laws so that you don’t get ticketed. We always recommend a professional install for this modification. Poor tint jobs will bubble and discolor over time. Make sure your window tint installer has a good warranty to protect your investment!
