GM unveiled their next generation of GM SUVs this year, and with it came the freshly redesigned Tahoe, Yukon, and Suburban. The aggressive design elements make them prime candidates for blackout builds.
From the factory, the Tahoe LS features some subtle chrome elements but we decided to completely murder out this 2021 Chevy Tahoe LS. We gave a similar treatment to this 2021 GMC Yukon Denali.

Badges and Nameplates
To start off this build we added a set of Tahoe blackout nameplates from GM. This Tahoe already came with the blackout bow ties so that made our job a little easier. Blackout emblems are a great way to change the look of your ride without making your wallet cry.
Powder Coated Wheels + Brake Calipers
To match our emblems we brought the wheels on this Tahoe into our paint booth. We gave the stock wheels a treatment of gloss black powder coating. Wheels play a huge role in the appearance of your vehicle, and powder coating is a great option.
While we had the wheels off we gave the brake calipers a fresh coat of gloss black high temperature paint. Painting your brake calipers is a great way to add an accent to your build.
Chrome Delete
Some pieces of chrome on the Tahoe cannot be (easily), removed for powder coating or paint. That’s where our vinyl chrome delete packages come in to save the day.
A great example of this is the window trim. Although the window trim is (technically) removable, it’s much more time and cost effective to just vinyl wrap them. We did just that with a gloss black wrap film to match the rest of this build.
The roof rails on this Tahoe come with a chrome finish from the factory. We gave them the same vinyl wrap treatment as the window trim to completely murder out this Tahoe.
Lastly, there was a chrome accent on the side steps which we wrapped to complete the chrome delete.
Ceramic Coating
To protect this Tahoe we added some of our Ceramic Solutions paint protection. Ceramic coating offers additional protection to your paint from road grime and other paint contaminants. With ceramic coating you can spend less time cleaning, and more time on the road enjoying your ride with peace of mind knowing you’re protected.
Window Tint
To round out this blackout Tahoe, we added window tint to the front windows. The rear windows come with 20% tint so we wanted to match those. Tons of production vehicles come from the factory with tinted glass (but not on every window). Typically the front windows of a new car have very little, or no tinting.
