Interior
We wanted the inside to be just as gorgeous as the outside, so we upgraded all the seating. Out went the factory cloth and in came premium Katzkin leather. We chose the black leather with white contrast stitch and TekStich Diamond inserts.
Katzkin offers a huge menu of options you can tweak when picking your leather. It’s one of the many reasons we love upgrading from factory cloth.
Exterior
Rough Country HD2 running boards line the side of this RAM. They are wider and more aggressive than the factory board and provide a large step area! I’m a big fan of these boards but they are only available for crew cab trucks. If you’re an extended cabber like me you’ll have to find a different set.
The Blackhorse Armor Roll bar is the focal piece of this build. The 4 inch diameter steel tubing is super strong and powder coated in black. We changed the side panel logo to the steel color instead of red.
The top of the roll bar contains a light plate that can accommodate up to a 50-inch light bar. We utilized a 20-inch SL8 LED light bar and two 3-inch cube lights from DV8 to fill this spot.
We used MOPAR RAM fender flares, but put our own custom twist on them. We painted them to match the exterior color. The glossy clear coat on top of the textured flare adds a unique custom look to this truck.
Wheels & Tires
We wanted to make a big statement with this RAM, so we used 37-Inch TOYO Open Country R/T tires. These beefy offroad tires are built for any terrain and pack some aggressive styling.
Inside them sits the 20-Inch Black Rhino Barstow wheel in matte black. They take an off road no-nonsense approach to the classic 5-spoke wheel styling.
