When you want to take your daily driver off-roading for the weekend you need accessories that can enhance its performance without affecting its everyday comfort. On this 2018 Ford F150 XLT from Lou Fusz Ford we added aggressive offroad accessories and everyday conveniences like leather seating and a hard folding tonneau cover.

Lift Kit
Upgrading your factory wheel clearance is a factor anytime off-roading is in the picture. With a 5-Inch Rough Country Lift Kit installed this rig has an advantage over any other factory truck. More clearance provides a few perks such as increased weel space for larger wheels/tires, more room for the wheels to “flex” when climbing, and it also looks great! Adding a lift kit to any vehicle will dramatically change the stance, provide off-road performance while maintaining a smooth highway ride.
Wheels and Tires
Using that additional clearance, 20-Inch gloss black Fuel Off-Road Coupler Wheels where mounted and wrapped with 35-inch Toyo Open Country A/T tires. An open tread pattern allows dirt, mud, snow, and water to pass through the tires giving you more surface area to grip the ground. This also reduces road noise giving you a pleasurable experience both on or off the road.
Tonneau Cover and Emblems
After enhancing the underside of the vehicle with a great set of wheels and tires, an Undercover Ultra Flex Tonneau Cover was mounted to the bed. The importance of a tonneau cover on this build is obvious. It adds to the style with a matte black finish, provides covered storage, and it’s even weather resistant.
This tonneau cover is also very easy to use. The Ultraflex technology allows you to fold the tonneau in 4 seperate sections all the way up to the cab. This grants the ability to still completely use the bed whether you want to haul your ATV or cover your cargo on a rainy day. To complete the exterior of the F150 we replaced the factory emblems with black ford badges to match the wheels and tonneau cover.
Interior
On top of the off-road parts integrated into this machine an additional layer of comfort was added. The interior was lined with Katzkin Factory-Match Leather Seating . This gives you access to leather seating without paying for the Lariat trim level.
Also you may have different taste in what you want your interior to look like, contrary to what Ford provides. Katzkin provides the flexibility to choose specific options with Katzkin designer leather or vehicle specific packages not available from the factory.
