May is Military Appreciation Month, and we are celebrating current and former military personnel all month long with a donation drive, discount program, and sale.
Missouri Veterans Endeavor Donation Drive
Anyone who donates at least $25 of goods can receive a military-themed VIP Auto Accessories snapback hat at no cost. This limited-edition hat his limited edition hat can only be obtained through donating and will not be sold. There is a wide range of goods to be collected, including home goods, cleaning supplies, and gardening tools. A complete list of the items being collected can be found below.
MOVE is a community for homeless Veterans and their families. Veterans are able to live among their peers in a secure and sober environment with on-site counseling services available 24/7. The organization empowers struggling Veterans to rediscover a sense of purpose and optimism and to realize their goal of independent living.
Requested Goods
Home Supplies – New tenants are welcomed home with care packages. MOVE is requesting home goods and supplies for these packages.
Household cleaners, dish soap, trash cans, fans, toaster, pots/pans/cookware, towels, cutting boards, etc.
Gardening Tools & Supplies – A garden was constructed to honor the memory of two Veterans that recently passed away. MOVE is requesting tools, plants, and supplies to allow all Veterans the opportunity to work in the garden:
Seeds, hand tools, gardening gloves, fertilizer, garden stakes, etc.
Group Room Activities – A communal area allows Veterans to meet to play games, utilize computers, and borrow books and/or movies from their collection. MOVE is requesting snack items and activities for this room.
Soda, individually packaged chips & snacks, computer paper, crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, board/card games, coloring books, art supplies, etc.
Donations can be dropped off during business hours (Monday-Friday 8:30AM-5PM) all month long at the VIP Auto Accessories showroom located at 1424 Ashby Road in St. Louis.
