Window Tint |
We begin with a 1.5-inch Anderson Design lift kit, which gives the Crosstrek just enough height for practical adventuring. These kits are manufactured by true enthusiasts in Sandy Oregon, near the base of Mt. Hood.
Then we mounted our 15-Inch Method Rally Wheel Package. It uses the MR502 Rally wheel in matte black. Subaru Rally Team USA’s David Higgins and Craig Drew won a 2014 Rally America Championship on this exact wheel. Any unnecessary weight was removed in low-stress areas around the wheel, leaving a slick competition-ready race wheel.
We recently added Kuat (koo-at) to our line card. They are a great option in addition to Thule racks, and they are headquartered right here in Missouri. We used the Vagabond X Roof Basket to add function and style to this Crosstrek. The Vagabond X has 2 integrated 9mm skewer mounts for bikes, and adds 160 lb load capacity to your vehicle. If you need even more space, an optional Xtender can be added to make the rack 73″ long.
As with most of our accessory builds, we’ve installed window tint for UV protection and increased privacy for all passengers. That’s in addition to keeping you cooler!
Custom Tweaks
We made a couple custom changes to the standard wheel package product. First we chose to reuse the factory center caps, keeping the iconic Subaru star clusters visible. We also opted for Cooper Discoverer A/T3 225/70R17 tires instead of the BFGoodrich tires. It’s important to feel ownership over any aftermarket build, so don’t be scared to deviate from the norm when designing your dream build!
