Similar to the Kia Telluride, the all-new Hyundai Palisade has hit the market and become a class favorite. With a sleek luxurious exterior, with interior to match, it’s a no-brainer why this full-size SUV is a fan favorite!
Unlike the Telluride though, Hyundai isn’t offering a Nightfall package from the factory, so we went to work and made one ourselves! Even better is that these upgrades can be made on any trim level of Palisade!

Blackout Grille & Badges
Starting things off on this Hyper White Palisade Calligraphy is the blackout grille and accompanying emblems! From the factory, the Calligraphy comes with a brushed metal appearance on the grille surround, and lower front bumper.
We handed off the grille surround, lower bumper cover, and front emblem to our paint booth where it received a finish of gloss black paint. This change alone creates a massively improved front end on the Palisade, but we didn’t stop there!
Roof Rails & Bodyside Molding
Moving up top, we refinished the roof rails on this clean machine in a shiny gloss black finish to match the newly improved front end! Small details like the roof rails are essential items to consider when blacking out your vehicle to ensure a cohesive finish!
On the sides, we treated the door handles and protective bodyside molding to a similar gloss black paint finish. Unlike other shops, we remove the door handles and bodyside molding before prepping for paint and clear coat. This allows us to offer second-to-none quality on all our blackout builds with results that can please a crowd!
Finally, we hit the orange side markers on the Palisade’s fender area with a smoked clear coat. Using a smoked clear coat still allows for the intended functionality of the side markers, but with a more subtle appearance!
Rear Bumper and Badges
To complete the blackout, look around back, we smoked the reflectors and tail lights in the same smoked clear coat as the side markers! This really brings the rear end together and matches the black fog light housing up front!
Jumping to the rear of the Palisade, we treated the rear emblems and nameplates to gloss black to match the rest of this blackout build! Taking it a step even further, we also gave the lower bumper cover on this Palisade a coat of gloss black paint to match the front.
Wheels & Brake Calipers
To complete the blackout appearance of this Palisade, we opted to powder coat the factory 20-inch wheels. We’re big fans of the factory wheel design, which is one of the major benefits of powder coating (you don’t need new wheels)!
Tucked behind the 20-inch wheels on all four corners are the brake calipers which we painted black for a subtle blackout touch! Painted calipers are one way to make your ride stand out and complete your blackout build!
Potential Addons
With an already impressive interior on the Palisade Calligraphy, one upgrade to increase protection and resale value is WeatherTech floorliners or cargoliners! WeatherTech offers precise floor moldings for nearly all makes and models to help keep your vehicle’s carpet factory fresh!
