Since its introduction in the 1960’s the Ford Mustang has been an American icon, and the front runner of the pony-car category. The 2021 Mustang GT is a platform enthusiasts have grown to love because of its hungry coyote V8 engine, and smooth handling characteristics. We played to this pony’s strengths and gave this Mustang some upgrades any owner would be proud to strut!

Suspension Upgrades
To increase this stang’s already impressive suspension, we slapped on tons of different accessories from Steeda Suspension. We’re big fans of Steeda because of their thirty plus years of racing and experience with specialization in the Mustang!
We gave this suspension the works with progressive sport springs, active shocks and struts, camber plates, and bumpstop / jounce bumpers. All of these combined make this S550 Mustang ready to tackle the twisty roads ahead!
Painted Brake Calipers
For some additional flare on this Ford we painted the stock calipers on this Mustang GT fire red. Painted brake calipers are a great way to give your ride a standout look without shelling out the big bucks on aftermarket brake kits.
We recommend only using paint specifically designed for brake calipers if you decide to DIY this upgrade. All too often we see someone with a rattle can painting their calipers and expecting lasting results.
The truth is that your brakes are subjected to tons of road grim and heat each mile you drive. If you don’t have a paint that can withstand these conditions then you’ll experience fading, chipping, and tons of other undesired side effects.
Ceramic Window Tint
To give this Mustang some additional interior protection and style we added some 3M window tint. We opted for 3M’s Ceramic IR series film because of its phenomenal clarity and superior heat reduction than other films!
One overlooked benefit of window tint is its solar energy rejection. This can help keep your interior cooler during hot summer months and protect plastics from sun fading over time. Not to mention the additional style points you’ll secure!

Ceramic Coating
For complete exterior protection of this pony, we lathered on a coat of ceramic coating! Ceramic coating works by bonding a liquid polymer to your vehicles paint (which offers several benefits). One of the most notable characteristics is its hydrophobic properties.
We’re big fans of ceramic coating because it allows you to spend more time on the road enjoying your vehicle, and less time washing / maintaining it! As a bonus we offer a 5-year warranty on our applications for additional peace of mind!
Potential Add-Ons
For an increased driving experience and a slight increase in power output, one add-on you could make is a NXTSTEP axle back exhaust system. Although there are tons of different exhaust options out there, NXTSTEP has the best sound (in my opinion) while also coming in at a reasonable price point!
