The 2024 Mazda CX-70 brings an elevated driving experience similar to the CX-90, but without the third row seating. We wanted to give this new model a little extra style by installing some after market accessories. To enhance its exterior styling we installed upgrades like a vinyl roof wrap, powder coated wheels, and more.

Black Vinyl Roof Wrap
Since Mazda did such a great job designing the CX-70’s interior we wanted to add some luxury on the outside. Vinyl roof wraps like the one we added create the same two-tone style that you can find on many high-end SUVs.
Gloss black can go with almost every vehicle color and looks especially great with chrome deletes, but you could do a roof wrap in any color. Having a black roof also has slimming affect on the top half of the vehicle making it appear more stream lined. If you want a look that’s more stylized and sporty roof wraps can make it happen.
Black Powder Coated Rims
The original rims on this Custom Mazda CX-70 looked great, but we wanted to get rid of the chrome. They were given a gloss black powder coat finish to match the gloss black roof wrap. Rather than buy a whole new set of expensive wheels a powder coat finish allowed us to create a custom look without the designer price tag.
With powder coating you get more than a bunch of color options too. You get better coverage and a more durable finish that strengthens your wheels.
Red Painted Brake Calipers
In addition to the powder coated wheels we also have painted red brake calipers. This is a quick modification to improve the styling of your ride. It adds a pop of color which draws more attention to the detail of the cars design. We’ve painted calipers in a variety of colors like red, orange, yellow, pink, blue, green, and more.
When painting brake calipers we use a durable and heat resistant paint. Brake calipers deal with a lot of friction debris, and rod chemicals which can all be withstood with proper paint. If you’re feeling fancy you can also put a ceramic coating on them for another layer of protection and a super easy clean.
Two Front Window Tint
Our age old favorite accessory window tint film comes in to finish things off. We use FX Premium and Ceramic IR window tint films from 3M, which are some of the best around. Many people know tint for its appearance benefits, but tint does a whole lot! It provides privacy, heat rejection, and blocks harmful U.V. rays to keep you safe and comfortable.
When you go to tint your vehicle keep in mind your local laws and make sure the shop has a good warranty. We always recommend a professional install for this modification since poor tint jobs will bubble and discolor over time!
