Two Tone Vinyl Wrap
Starting up top on this 2021 RAM offroad build, our wrap team killed it with a two-tone silver partial wrap. Two tone trucks have made their way out of the mainstream lately with automakers trying to cut costs any way they can. Luckily, vinyl wrapping is a common way to achieve this same look from the aftermarket!
What’s even better is that vinyl wraps like this can be easily removed if you ever decide you want to return to a factory look!
Wheels, Tires & Calipers
With offroad-ability in mind, we replaced the factory wheels on this RAM with a set of MOPAR 20” chrome wheels. Wrapping these new wheels in Yokohama Geolander A/T’s (295/65R20) help give this RAM an aggressive offroad stance without going overboard on the street!
Tucked behind the new wheels and rubber are red painted calipers for some additional flare! Painted calipers are a simple and cost-effective way to tie together your ride with other accessories, or to just spice things up!
Leveling Kit & Side Steps
Working our way up from the axles of this RAM, we added a pair of Westin nerf steps. Although this RAM isn’t sitting as high as some others we’ve done (which you can see here), nerf steps are still a great addition to any offroad build!
Beyond the new side steps, we also leveled this beast out using a 2-inch leveling kit from Rough Country. Most trucks come with the rear end raised a bit from the factory to account for weight being added when towing or hauling. Leveling kits help get rid of this factory “rake,” and help the truck sit level with the ground!
Spray-In Bedliner
Around back, we coated the bed of this 1500 with some spray in bedliner. Bedliners are a popular choice of accessory for pickup enthusiasts, but one issue with plastic bedliners can be road noise. In addition to road noise, moisture getting trapped between the plastic liner and bed can create rust over the years.
Spray in bedliner helps alleviate these two common issues by adhering directly to your trucks bed. This enables it to not move around while driving or allow moisture to get trapped between the liner and your bed!
3M Premium FX Window Tint
Looking towards the glass on this truck, we decided to help increase comfort and privacy by adding 3M Window Tint to this RAM. Window tint is most often viewed as a cosmetic only upgrade, but that’s just not the case!
Not only can window tint help reduce interior heat in your vehicle, it also can help protect your skin from harsh UV rays too! Lastly, the increased privacy you gain from having less visibility into your car can be nice too!
Potential Addons
To take this RAM build to the next level, a suspension lift kit could help increase ground clearance on the trails. For increased daily functionality, WeatherTech floor liners are a great way to protect your floors from spills and stains!
